Confused about cost-effectiveness of replacing older windows to make your home more energy efficient?
Can older, historic windows be repaired, restored and weatherized?

Come to a free program, "Weatherizing and Repairing Older Windows", at Cornell Cooperative Extension on Wednesday evening, Sept. 16th, from 6:30-8:30pm.

Extension associate, Mark Pierce, will answer these questions and more. He'll demonstrate how to make your beautiful older windows more energy efficient. You will learn how to repair sash-cords on your double-hung windows with weights; how to replace worn parting bead as a method to tighten up a window; how to reglaze an older window; and energy efficiency treatments that you can do yourself.

Pre-registration is requested. Call (607) 272-2292 to sign up.
