Hi All,

This will be a great conference - hope all of you
   can come!

The Finger Lakes Bioneers Conference Oct. 16th-18th
                        Announces

Early Bird rate of $35 per day to expire as of 10/10/2009.
Bioneers is a global symposium entering into its
20th year as the leading edge forum for
Sustainability and Social Justice causes. 2009 Marks
the first time in Bioneer’s illustrious history
that a conference will be held in New York State. As
one of only 19 sites selected nationally Ithaca is
proud to host the inaugural Bioneer conference for
our region. By linking nationally renowned speakers
via satellite at Bioneer headquarters with local
topics and experts on the ground, the We Make Our
Future conference aims to inspire a potent
global-local approach to our environmental and
   social dilemmas.

Locally focused workshops will include but are not
limited to the future of Bio-Fuels in the Finger
Lake Region, an outlook on Smart Jobs for Smart
Micro-Grids, the impact of the federal stimulus
package on community energy plans as well as an
insightful look at families connecting to their
Eco-Systems. Featured speakers include Jonathan Todd
of Jon Todd Ecological Designs, Omar Freilla of the
Green Workers Cooperative of the South Bronx along
with Ithaca’s own Civil Rights hero Dorothy
   Cotton.

The conference will run from October 16th-18th on
the Ithaca College campus, for more information and
