Greetings!

We are looking for participant sustainability orgs/local vendors/ educational material contributors/performers/etc. for the First Annual Winter Green Gift Festival and Holiday Party to take place the evening of December 2 in the Women's Community Building. Silicon Solar, a local renewable energy company, will be sponsoring this event in preparation for the Holiday Season and the Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen. This event will help to promote local and low-carbon products as well as sustainable practices that will help to
make this a low-carbon Holiday Season!

This will be a combination gift and local foods fair as well as a festive educational gathering. We want to make the event as inclusive as possible
and hope for a great turn-out. Activities at this event will include:

. A sustainable gift fair: solar powered products, green
building/renewable energy books, local handicrafts, and local wine, cheese,
and other consumables

. Free refreshments

. Live music

. Information about carbon reductions and renewable energy
initiatives in Ithaca

. Educational booths and slideshows

There are a lot of exciting things going on locally, nationally, and
internationally in preparation for the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference and we hope to bring the larger Ithacan community together to exchange ideas
and celebrate the Holiday Season.

We will have tables for information from participant organizations at no charge. We only ask that you help get the word out! Please contact Rosie
([email protected]) if you would like to participate or have
questions.

Cheers,
