Unleashing the Power of Community:
Continuing the Dialogue on Racism, Tolerance, Collaboration and Commitment

Community Forum

Monday, February 1, 2010
6:30–8:30 p.m.
Holiday Inn, Downtown Ithaca

Who Should Attend?     Everyone!

 • Community Members

 • Elected Officials

 • Faith Leaders

 • Community and Business Leaders

 • Community Youth

 • School Administrators and Teachers

It has been two years since the community outcry for change after the last
major crisis (which involved the Ithaca City School District but could just as
easily have involved any institution in our community). What progress has been
made in our community and what work still needs to be done?

Come hear about on-going efforts to promote equity, diversity, and tolerance!
Come hear what’s needed to continue this work and how you can get involved!
Come hear what your neighbors have to say!   Come hear what our youth have to
say!  Come be inspired to create a community that is truly committed to equity
and anti-racism!

Community leaders will be there to listen. Let them hear your voice!
