Apologies for any cross postings...Feel free to share. Please join us in welcoming the Peace Walk for a Nuclear-Free Future to Ithaca. The walkers, who include Japanese Buddhist nun Jun Yasuda, members of the Cayuga Nation and other Native peoples, local residents and at least one person who is here from France for the entire 700-mile walk from Salamanca, NY to the United Nations, are educating for a peaceful future that does not include nuclear weapons, and nuclear power proliferation.
Here's the schedule. Please join for any of the events, or parts of the walk. After the walk leaves Ithaca, it will follow main roads (Rt 13 into Cortland, and Route 11 though Tully to Onondaga Nation Territory).
