http://www.environmentalintegrity.org) is starting a data base of pollution problems for journalists if you have a problem you can report it so journalists can check the statistics and issues. In April, EIP will launch a Web-based platform for the use of journalists looking to contact ?real people? who have been the victims of environmental pollution problems. This will be searchable by both state and the type of pollution problem. Victim information ? including name/phone/email and a brief description of the issues involved -- will be provided by participating environmental organizations. The goal here is address what has been a longstanding need ? a better way of getting journalists the interviews they need for stories about environmental problems.
