"That Old House Tour: Celebrating East Hill" To Take Place May 8

In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, Historic Ithaca will present
an open house-style walking tour of historic East Hill homes on Saturday,
May 8.  Participants will begin with an insider "hardhat" tour of Unity Inn,
a soon-to-be B&B currently under renovation at 408 East State Street.  The
tour will continue to the William Henry Miller Inn at Aurora and Buffalo
Streets, a Greek Revival home with Italianate details at 313 East Buffalo,
the Ithaca College President's Romanesque Revival home at 2 Fountain Place,
Greycourt Apartments at 108 Eddy Street, and the Miller-Heller House at 122
Eddy Street.  Homes on the tour will be open from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Refreshments will follow until 5:30pm at a location to be announced.  The
tour will take place rain or shine.

Advance registration is encouraged.  Tickets purchased before May 5 are $45
for the general public, $40 for Friends of Historic Ithaca, or $75 for two.
Tickets purchased after May 5 are $50.  For more information and to purchase
