Very true. The help needs a LOT of work so it has some cool content and
provide at least some basic directions to users that are not familiar
with DOS.
This is a call for volunteers. ;-)
I'd like to see a small file manager to browse through directories and
look at text files.
I'd really prefer to keep CORE as basic (and tiny) as possible. Perhaps
the help system could have some short notice about available DOS GUIs
and instruct users how to easily install one from packages? It is, after
all, only two commands (pkgnet pull + pkg install). [*]
Not a feature monster like DN2, but maybe Doszip fits. Or something
Windows-like: https://sourceforge.net/projects/explorerfree/
That one is nice, I didn't know about it. I will definitely package it
up into the SvarDOS repo.

be good to provide him with working connectivity so he can download
extra packages right away.. This involves shipping lots of packet
drivers and asking the user about what NIC he has during install time...
that's another subject I need to tackle.
