Sure they do-- and this is proven by the massive adoption of the mozSVG 
builds and the simultaneous decline in user base of Flash, PDF, and ASV. ;-)

Admittedly a built in module would be far superior to a plugin-- but the 
deployment schedule is not fast enough-- either it needs to be part of the 
main build or it needs to be a plugin-- but FF 0.8 is not what I want to 
use-- SVG or no. Apart from that when I installed the separate SVG build for 
FF it completely killed FF. I had to manually delete files so that I could 
reinstall... Probably not the common scenario but frustrating nonetheless. I 
look forward to its completion though  : )
