Hi all,

I'm trying to design a web tutorial for Irish-Gaelic which uses a
Gaelic font in ttf, shown here -

http://www.fainne.org/gaelchlo/bungc.html

I was in the processes of building my first page, but I quickly became
disillusioned by the lack of browser support for embedded fonts. The
Gaelic font should appear in IE, but not in Firefox etc.

Here's an example of my test page -

http://baz.perlmonk.org/z6.cgi?leathanach=1

You'll notice that if you enter "b" followed by "h" in the edit box,
the right column will display "b" with a dot above. "r" and "s" should
appear as "long s" and "long r" also.

I was wondering if implementing my tutorial in SVG might act as a
solution to my embedding problem.

Thanks for your advice,

Barry.
