I think the Font route is what I will investigate further but I have a few more questions on this approach.. How do I accurately control the size of the rendered font symbol? What size of (Corel) image should i use as the basis for creating the font/symbol? I think what I am asking is something like this... In the example supplied by Holger how could I accurately ensure that each chain link was drawn so that it was always a certain size e.g. 5mm Do manage size through the glyph or the font or both?
