If you use ASV, right click on the SVG, then select Search (or similar, 
I have "Rechercher..." in the context menu. Classic search dialog box 
appears. Type your string, click Next, found string is highlighted.

Note: although SVG is textual, I don't know how search engines like 
Google react when finding them, if they are able to follow links, etc. 
If your homepage is 100% SVG, you will risk to find it ignored by these 
engines. If I am wrong, please enlighten me.

So, for these engines, and visitors without SVG player, perhaps you may 
consider to maintain a classical plain HTML homepage in parallel with 
your SVG one. It can be quite some work though, unless you use some page 
generator (PHP templates or something).

Now, I saw two or three such sites, mostly as experiments or show off of 
mastering, so I wonder how they are handled.
