The extra hassle it takes to sign in means that the vote carries more
weight than, say, an anonymous yes/no button. 

I put my vote in and made sure to leave a comment. Of course it's
prudent to be polite and makes sense to consider the value of SVG to
IE and MS rather than try to ask for a favour.
