Hi, I have developed a C# .Net 2 desktop applications as an IPTV middleware application where I use VLC API for streaming UTP multicast Stream and RTSP streams. This would work well in Windows Based set-top boxes.
I have really impressed by hillcrest application which runs on a Linux based set-top box http://www.hillcrestlabs.com/. I got some info that all pages are svg files and having .js controller for each files. The browser should be a SVG viewer. Also the video files are working very well. I love to develop a similar application and got some idea about ECMAScript + SMIL + SVG. But still I am confused on how to to do video stream in a SVG file. Can I use any Open API like VLCPlayer to SVG page? I really dont understand this. Please give me some development idea to learn and start.
