I need to make a tooltip based on all elements below the mouse pointer, not just the top-most. What's the best cross-browser way to do this?
Here's an example that works in ASV: Hover over the smallest rectangle, and the script "diggs" through the overlapping elements by setting the pointer-events to none, one by one: http://kart.nois.no/pub/oye/ie9/events.svg Other implementations don't fire the mouseover-event for the bottom elements when the pointer-events are removed from the top (unless the pointer is moved), so that breaks my current code. Any suggestions to work around this? I've had a look at http://www.carto.net/svg/eventhandling, but I'm not sure if any of that can be used. ------------------------------------ ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: svg-developers-unsubscr...@yahoogroups.com -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ----Yahoo!
