I can talk about CariSVG since I wrote it. I would be glad if you used it, but 
be careful it's a draft, there's already many things I need to improve.
If you need to smooth a path, you can try this little function :

raphaeljs is a great library since it works with IE6 (fallback in VML), but I 
don't think it will help to smooth your curves.

Hi there, 

I'd like to see my lines with some dozen points a little less zigg-zagged, and 
instead more nicely curved ("smoothed" in Excel). In the moment, my script is 
not based on any SVG library, so I would need to add that functionality by 
hand. However, there seem to be not many possibilities. One is the use of a 
prototype script [1]. And then the use of SVG libs [2] [3]... 

Can someone point me to some other solution, or is this it?
