Hi, I am relatively new to SVG but have not seen any references to any conflict as relates to print graphics. For that matter, at least when producing touch graphics for the blind, SVG is the recommended standard for graphics. These graphs are being printed.
I realise that this is not a direct answer to your question but I do not think there are going to be any serious problems when printing.
