And some of us buy 2 year old hardware because it is cheap, and serves our needs just fine. Do we even have any 10Mbit only drivers? I think that all the 10mbit drivers also support 100mbit devices, but maybe there are some odd cases I cant remeber. I do agree that we need to be very carefull about killing "dead wood", and have advocated proper notice as a first order to helping with that.
