New Revision: 221588
URL: http://svn.freebsd.org/changeset/base/221588

Log:
  MFC r213643 (kientzle):

Add -D (deterministic) option to ar.
When set, it forces all timestamps and owners to zero and
modes to 0644. Useful for producing libraries that are
bitwise identical across multiple build runs.

Modified:
  stable/8/usr.bin/ar/ar.1
  stable/8/usr.bin/ar/ar.c
  stable/8/usr.bin/ar/ar.h
  stable/8/usr.bin/ar/write.c
Directory Properties:
  stable/8/usr.bin/ar/ (props changed)
