Aesthetics aside, I think the name should be changed. Network
drivers always used [a-z] for name and [0-9] for unit. Can you
find an example where this is not true?
I just meant the XL (Roman Numeral 40) part..
sorry to have caused this fuss jsut because I like the use of the
common "XL" name to (in this case) hint at 40.
the device name in netstat could be ixlgNNN (intel 40gig) even if the
device is aimed at the 710 (and later 720 etc..)
