The Bard's Tale is a 1985 game, which puts it right on the cusp between 8-bit and 16-bit systems.  The pic with the better graphics is the Amiga version (it says so in the fine print at the bottom).  The box was updated after the Amiga version was made.

Someone asked me about these variations in Bard's Tale 1 packaging, I had no idea there were two packagings (both flat packs). My personal is #2, don't think I have ever seen #1, anyone have info?

Thanks,
Tom
