I bought my first goldbox game when Secret of the Silver Blades was fresh on the shelves, I was 12, should be 13-14 years ago then. I have been collecting SSI games since 4 years back, have about 150 of them by now.

Good god, 150? What's the title you have with the most duplicates?

I got mine the years they came out, but only to play the Pool of Radiance "quadrilogy" (Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades, Pools of Darkness) while in college with friends. (Being college, days, I would go to sleep while my friends would keep playing, then when the sun came up they would go to bed and I would resume playing ;-) And for a time we would all "multiplay" it, where we would each assign ourselves to a character and would dictate what each would do in battle -- kind of like four dungeonmasters playing a single-player game at once.) Those are the only four I've willingly bought and played; the rest that I have were acquired in trade bundles.

Whoa, sorry to get all nostalgic there.
