If I was reading his comments cold (without having read other people vouch for him) I would have been quite leery about dealing with him. His comments make him come across as someone in love with their own perceived wittiness. Those people can be quite unpleasant to deal with if you don't go along with them. Thank goodness for this list, though. It is a chance to learn about and meet more collectors than my little area of interest would normal lead me to encounter.
Oh, as a side note, I actually read the feedback comments left for and by buyers and sellers. Things like 'prompt payment', 'well packed', 'shipped quickly', 'made deal right', etc. are valuable in gauging what to expect from someone. It is a technique I picked from the folks that make their living off of eBay.
