Hi Josh. I am sorry to hear of your troubles. I would not go so far as to say I hate ALL things about ebay though I have a lot of issues with them (paypal way more so than ebay from a sellers standpoint). Ebay/Paypal is a monster, a near monopoly that is not really regulated by anyone. They can pretty much do whatever they want, and force you to "sign" massive documents to even use them (paypal document is scary). I'm guessing a lot of what you sign to accept is probably illegal but individually there is not much we can do about it. Too much time and cost (lawyers etc) to make it worthwhile. Perhaps someday enough people will get together where something can actually be done (at least with paypal). Ebay necessary evil, in fact it might have been you who first used the words "love/hate" relationship. Great place to buy things, as long as nothing goes wrong. If it does, trouble, customer service is not good. But kind of understandable, they have millions of transactions going on, I'm sure a good percentage "go bad" so they are probably swamped with complaints. Best thing to do is call them direct. Paypal there are alternatives as I have mentioned, better ones (especially for seller). And we NEED TO SUPPORT THE COMPETITION or paypal will drive them all out of business and be left as monopoly, they already drove C2it out of business. And then they would be able to add even more "rules". Ebay so so,  buyer beware (doubt anyone will ever be able to compete), paypal very bad (hope competition survives, might be too late), seller be REALLY careful...
