Sure, I'd actually planned to do this in any case. In fact, I'd also planned to put up a general tutorial for MinGW/MSYS, because I now have a clear understanding of how to use them correctly and I'm painfully aware of how incomprehensible they can be for newcomers. If you're willing to read drafts and contribute suggestions that would be very much appreciated.
