I am having the same problem. The problem is the solution above
doesn't work for me.

I am using SWFObject 2.1 (not generator). swf doesn't load at all in
FF3 when ONLINE. It works when I run it offline. Interesting, isn't
it?

I tried using local and google hosted swfobject.js, and it only works
when it's not in the web server or if I am not using FF3 (swf load
just fine in IE, Chrome, and Opera).

1.5 work just fine before until the latest flash player update somehow
messes overlays mc and when i tried out 2.1 it worked just fine
(offline that is) so updates is necessary.
(almost gave me a heart attack when the site i was working on looked
like something made for '80s DOS apps...)

I know it's probably FF3 problem, just thought maybe someone here
knows what's going on that can give a work around of some kind.
