UPDATE:: I have resolved my personal issue with this and was to do with file naming convention.
All my swf files reside in a directory titled _fla. The undercore was causing this to fail when it was looking for the path in the javascript file. I believe if you encounter this you can '' out the _ to tell it that it is part of the string instead of a command? I have a follow on issue with this which I will bring up as a new thread.
