Seems to me that the best way to handle such a problem-prone situation as 
this would be to just grab the outerHTML of the outer most object element, 
then use a string regex replacement to put in the correct wmode, then 
re-write/append that new element to the DOM and replace/remove the previous 
one in its place. Basically, do a swap out.
