I am a little confused about why SWFObject doesn't seem to send
FlashVars to Internet Explorer -- at least it wasn't working for me.

I successfully used a workaround I found on the net where one repeats
them in the movie param -- e.g.,
      <param name="movie" value="my.swf?myVar=$myValue" /> (I'm
building this is a PHP script)
and leaving all the param values that SWFObject Generator created.

However, I feel that I must have missed something in configuring
SWFObject. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!
