I built (donated) a site to a childhood cancer foundation.
www.mcnealfamilyfoundation.org I have implemented SwfObject on my
site to implement a sponsor slide show. The construct uses a alt div
tag to display an alternate content if the activex controls need to be
activated or if the visitor needs to install Flash. If the visitor's
configuration meets the requirements then a slideshow runs in place of
the alt div. I have not had any problems with this at all until today,
when I pulled it up in IE 6. The slideshow object displays outside of
the container moving to a position below the left column. It displays
fine in all other browsers. I have spent the day doing some research
and have seen a lot of issues concerning SWFObject and IE 6 but I just
cant seem to figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
