Hi Matthias,
i've been out for a while, but i was testing the avi2swf always on windows, and my mplayer is compiled with ming32 libs i believe .. could be deviation from the linux build?.. my mplayer version is Mplayer-dev-CVS-050514-10:43 (it's the latest build as of june 26.. ) i always have to use the -ffourcc DX50 as a switch when i convert the wmv to avi since otherwise the avi isn't viewable in a windows player such as winamp or wmp. i was using the audio switch -oac copy instead of the -oac mp3lame, wheni use the -oac mp3lame and then try to convert it to swf with avi2swf i get this: Flushing video frames Writing AVI index... Fixing AVI header... ODML: Aspect information not (yet?) available or unspecified, not writing vprp h eader. Video stream: 1013.005 kbit/s (126625 bps) size: 633761 bytes 5.005 secs 152 frames Audio stream: 191.008 kbit/s (23875 bps) size: 128482 bytes 5.381 secs C:\Documents and Settings\Matt\Desktop\MPlayer-mingw32-1.0pre7\mplayer>avi2swf i ndia3.avi -o india3.swf Ignoring audio stream: bitspersample=0 AVIReader: Warning: No audio stream Converting frame 42 if i use the -oac copy switch (copying the stream directly from the wmv file in the conversion to avi with mencoder), avi2swf doesn't complain about having a missing audio stream: Writing AVI index... Fixing AVI header... ODML: Aspect information not (yet?) available or unspecified, not writing vprp h eader. Video stream: 949.932 kbit/s (118741 bps) size: 594301 bytes 5.005 secs 139 frames Audio stream: 160.040 kbit/s (20005 bps) size: 100332 bytes 5.015 secs C:\Documents and Settings\Matt\Desktop\MPlayer-mingw32-1.0pre7\mplayer>avi2swf i ndia3.avi -o india3.swf Converting frame 150 it could be the build of mplayer, i have tried some of the older builds including 1.0pre7 and 1.0pre4, to no avail. if anybody else has gotten this to work successfully in windows let me know (using mencoder on windows for wmvs and avi2swf on windows).. I'm also using the windows essential-20050412 package of codecs from mplayer. thanks, Matt _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! _______________________________________________ Swftools-common mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/swftools-common
