Hi Matthias, Unless you know the page dimensions in the pdf you do not know the size of the output. I can see the benefit of knowing the swf width or height.
A little different to what Camin asked for but, for me at least, it would be cool if I could specify a required height or width and pdf2swf calculate the other to maintain aspect ratio.
