Looking to config.log your problem is with libjpeg. In config.log you have: configure:6564: ./conftest ./conftest: error while loading shared libraries: libjpeg.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Did you compile libjpeg or installed from yum? It seems that you compile it, try run ldconfig and then ./configure; make again. Ricardo
