Matthias reads this list regularly. and thus I'm sure he has read your post. You could always email him directly. One of his addresses is at the base of this page: http://wiki.swftools.org/index.php/FAQ Ricardo ( Pedroso ) maintains a seperate github copy of swftools which I understand contain some non-official patches as well.
