Hello,
I'm trying to install SWFTools for a Confluence plugin, and I'm getting
an error at the very end of the "make" command. The system is CentOS
release 6.2 (Final), 64 bit. I've installed all the dependencies as
found by ./configure, so that steps runs correctly. When I issue the
"make" command, the last part of the output has these errors:
xpdf/SplashOutputDev.h:240: error: ‘GBool
SplashOutputDev::needFontUpdate’ is private
BitmapOutputDev.cc:1634: error: within this context
xpdf/SplashOutputDev.h:208: error: ‘void
SplashOutputDev::doUpdateFont(GfxState*)’ is private
BitmapOutputDev.cc:1635: error: within this context
make[2]: *** [BitmapOutputDev.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/swftools/lib/pdf'
make[1]: *** [libgfxpdf.a] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/swftools/lib'
make: *** [all] Error 2
[root@projects swftools]#
This is with the stock swftools package that I installed via git - git
clone git://git.swftools.org/swftools, so it has the xpdf as supplied
with that package.
I'd appreciate any input on this. I looked in the archives, but didn't
find anything relevant. I've also looked online and found people with
similar issues, but nothing with this specific issue.
Let me know if I need to provide more information. I'm a tech writer,
not a programmer, so I may be leaving out a key bit of info that someone
needs to help me resolve this.
