Hi – just to clear this up: A short description of variable argument functions (variadic functions) was removed specifically from the “A Swift Tour” part of TSPL. It was felt that this particular feature wasn’t the kind of thing that needed to be included up front in such a short intro-to-the-language chapter. They’re still described in the Functions chapter.
