A major unscheduled power incident occurred in the CERN computer centre
at around 6:00 AM today January 5, 2006.
This unfortunately affected all equipment in the centre. Power was
restablished around 7:00 AM.
This occurred unfortunately due to an error in switching to the new
power feeds to the computer center. This work has now been completed so
no more interruptions of this nature are expected.
We apologize again.
