GPS-Technik AG in Schlieren (ZH) is expanding its team
and is looking for a new Presales Engineer.
Responsibilities:
-- Keep up-to-date knowledge of Cisco and other vendors
product line and technologies.
-- Prepare the proposal documents in responce to
RFI/RFP's.
-- Face the customer in pre-sale phase.
-- Aanalyze the customer's requirements and compose the
hardware offers based on Cisco's best practices and
recommendations.
-- Write commercial proposal documents in German and
English.
-- Follow up the ordering, delivering and deployment
processes.
-- Some hands-on work is also possible, like installing
and configuring hardware or on-site troubleshooting.
The candidate should show good knowledge and experience
in the following areas:
-- IP Networking. Good knowledge of network application
protocols, IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP),
understanding of QoS principles. Knowledge of MPLS
architectures is a plus.
-- Hands-on experience in telecommunication or enterprise
networking.
-- Cisco IP routing and switching products. The candidate
should be familiar with major product lines and know
their application.
-- Optical networking knowledge is a plus. This includes
general knowledge of SDH networks and Cisco ONS products.
-- IP Security. Generic concepts of security protection
mechanisms and products is very much welcome.
Other requirements:
-- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written.
Fluent French is a plus.
-- Valid driver license
