I think it would be a great presentation! Like you, I have been playing with Linux for a while. The best thing for radio hobbyists is, less money spent on operating systems, more money to spend on radios! If you go forward with this, I would make one suggestion. Give some thought to radio control application packages. Many are ported to Linux but some are only native to Windoze. Letting folks know how to make these run (under Wine, etc.) would be a big help I am sure. Have fun!
