Announced about a week ago.  Has been in DXLD and the swprograms
group.  Plenty of predictable weeping and gnashing of teeth.

For much of Europe this won't be a total loss - many can still receive
the 648 kHz mediumwave service that isn't going away.

Around here the African frequencies (17830, 15400 daytime; 7160, 6005
late night) are more useful and are not affected by this announcement.
