Here's an idea for someone to run with...
As the subject line suggests, a place where people can submit
categorized events.
Categories might include: Literature Authorship Date, General Historical
Event, Reigning Government, Famous Person Lifetime, War, etc.
These submissions would populate a database which could be viewed by
panning and zooming on a timeline, and checking categories to hide or show.
Just a thought. It would be incredibly useful to me personally, to help
put things in perspective.
