a) WebDAV is a _SUPERSET_ of HTTP. So HTTP GET, HEAD, PUT, MOVE, COPY
methods are used + they are extenden with other methods (like PROPFIND
for listing directory / metadata fetching)

b) WebDAV of course supports TLS/SSL
