The app will need to be compiled against the Windows Phone 8 SDK which will be 
used for 3rd party apps on the Nokia 920 and other Windows Phone 8 devices (the 
SDK is not yet public, due later this autumn).
For Windows Phone 8 the UI layer in particular is completely different from 
Windows Mobile 5 - 6.5 and will likely need to be completely rewritten. At 
least with C/C++ support expected in the SDK it will be worth investigating 
this (unlike for existing Windows Phone 7 Nokias which are limited to C# or VB
