Greg's suggestion had already been considered, but surely that would lead to the following visual effect in front-ends?
Verse 1 tag on a line of its own ("widowed") The title text on its own line. A blank line for the paragraph element. The rest of the text for verse 1. The rest of the Psalm.... IMHO, the unacceptable aspect here would be the widowed verse tag. In effect the descriptive title would have been made to function as a mid-verse title, albeit without any normal verse text preceding it. David PS. The words 'widowed' and 'orphaned' are borrowed from typographical terminology. btw. There are already too many modules in which there are widowed verse tags in many places. And none of them are due to the underlying issue in this thread. Just poorly developed modules. -- View this message in context: http://sword-dev.350566.n4.nabble.com/Verses-that-are-partly-a-title-tp4654417p4654444.html Sent from the SWORD Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list: sword-devel@crosswire.org http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page
