Some preliminary processing is required. The USFM data in his repos are stored in a separate text file for each chapter. There's also a data chapter 0 containing the book header lines in each book folder.
It's all highly structured, and probably helps mobile editing to save on bandwidth. In GitHub, each commit gives greater visibility of the context where the changes were made.
