Sat 03 Nov 2007 Love is imprudent and immoral (John Bentley.)

The necessary conditions of the orthodox idea of Romantic/Sexual love are:
admiration for the other;
expression of that admiration;
sexual attraction to the other;
and the previous three conditions reciprocated.

If that is right then (romantic/sexual) love is imprudent (against self
interest) and immoral (against the interest of the other). This thesis
depends on the conclusions in "Is there anything wrong with a big ego?"
