Hello all, So begins the new year! As such, this year's current projects seminar will kick off on Feb 25, or, conceivably, March 3, depending on which way the wind blows. While we have quite a few visitors around, lots of whom will be giving papers, this is a general call for anyone else who is around and who is interested in giving us a paper. Members of staff, graduate students, other affiliates and sundry beings all welcome, though ultimately I will have to pronounce on your onotological status if you are a sundry being.
Remember, presentations are 30 minutes long, of an informal character, usually work in progress but at least, not usually polished papers, and there is no overhead projection or powerpoint or other forms of dance allowed, though for the desperate there is a white board. This is followd by an hour of questions. Anyone interested in presenting please email me with a tentative view about what the presentations might consist in, and what sort of date you are thinking of, and I'll see what I can do.
