Philo Agora's talk next Tuesday, May 13 will be Dr Philip Quadrio on the Philosophy of Religion

The talk will distinguishing philosophy of religion from philosophical theology, re-orientating what many of us take philosophy of religion to be. It will then discuss the ethical & political importance of this subject for contemporary life.

Phil is currently editing the text /Religion and Politics in the New Century: Philosophical Perspectives, and has taught philosophy of religion at the University of Sydney, the University of New South Wales and Macquarie University. In conjunction with P.Diego Bubbio, he helps tun the Philosophy of Religion Research Seminars held by the Department of Philosophy at the University of Sydney.


Tuesday May 13 at the Fair Trade Coffee House, 33 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, $6.00 includes a free cup of coffee or tea. 7.30 - 9.00pm. If you want a meal, come early, as the chef goes off at 7.30. All profits from the Fair Trade Cafe go to Third World development.
