This moth Peter Jonkers, Professor of Philosophy, Tilburg (Holland) will
visit Sydney. Peter currently organising the _*17th Conference of the
International Hegel-Gesellschaft*_. Peter will be giving a number of
papers while he is in Sydney. Below I provide his biographical
information and the dates he will be speaking.

*Peter Jonkers*, (Eindhoven, the Netherlands, 1954) studied philosophy
at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Currently, he is full
professor of philosophy of the Faculty of Catholic Theology of Tilburg
University, the Netherlands. He publishes on German Idealism,
contemporary metaphysics, and philosophy of religion. Some of his recent
publications are: /God in France. Eight contemporary French Thinkers on
God / (2005); /Hegel-Lexikon/ (2006); Illusory Imagination versus
Nihilistic Reason: A Historical-Philosophical Case Study of the Role of
Imagination in Religion (2003); Religious Truth in a Globalising World
(2008). Peter Jonkers is married and has six children.
