'New Horizons' in Political Philosophy
Dear members,
This information is for any graduate students, or any potential
graduate students next year.
Could you please direct your graduate student’s attention to the 'New
Horizons' in Political Philosophy conference to be held at the
University of Canberra, 27-28 November 2008. This is an annual post-
graduate conference in political philosophy, previously held at UNSW
and ANU. We require 300 word abstracts to be submitted before 31
October 2008.
The conference has no registration fee, and there are two $250
interstate travel scholarships for full-time interstate students to
apply for. There is also a best paper award. The conference will
provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on 27 November and
morning tea on 28 November.
The keynote speaker is Dr Fiona Jenkins from the ANU.
There will also be a conference dinner on the 27 November at $30 per
person.
